For an old-fashioned Independence Day celebration, come down and listen to a variety of bands play throughout Lahaina. A
fireworks display will light up the night sky over Lahaina at 8pm from a barge offshore of Front Street. Fireworks can be viewed from charter boats in Lahaina Harbor and on land throughout Lahaina Town. Learn more.

CHINESE MOON FESTIVAL IN LAHAINA
September 25-26, 2015 • 10:00 am - 8:00 pm
Celebrate Maui's agricultural harvest during a traditional Chinese Moon Festival at Wo Hing Museum on Front Street. Shop the Farmers’ Market in the Wo Hing Museum yard. Chinese tea and moon cakes will be served under the sky to the accompaniment of an erhu performance, a fan dance and community lantern dance. Listen to a talk on the history of moon festivals and enjoy the crafts such as lantern making and calligraphy. Traditional Chinese cuisine will be offered for sale. Learn more.

 

LAHAINA PLANTATION DAYS

Celebrate West Maui’s history of sugar and pineapple plantations’ camp life during Lahaina Plantation Days community festival at the Pioneer Mill Smokestack & Locomotives site on Lahainaluna Road. Food, music and fun for the whole family. Enjoy the historical memorabilia, photos and maps plus, multi-cultural demonstrations and shop for produce at the Farmers’ Market.
