ANNUAL EASTER FAIR & EGG HUNT
April 5, 2015
Lahaina Animal Farm & Guest Ranch will be hosting the Annual Easter Fair & Egg Hunt Sunday, April 5th from 8am to 12pm. Activities will include a Treasure Egg Hunt every 30 minutes, Keiki Horseback Rides, Face Painting, Zorb Ball Rolling, Bull Roping, Miniature Horse Grooming and Farm to Table Concessions. CHINESE KITE FESTIVAL IN LAHAINA & KAANAPALI
Apr 17-18, 2015
Celebrate The Chinese Kite festival at the Wo Hing Museum in Lahaina on Friday from 1 to 8 pm. Enjoy an exhibit of handmade kites in traditional and modern styles. Participate in workshops to make your own kite or purchase one of the many kites for sale. There will be Chinese music and entertainment as well as Chinese delicacies to purchase. On Saturday, go fly a kite! This family event takes place at the Keka‘a North Beach Open Space near the old Airport Beach in Ka‘anapali from 10 am to 2 pm. Watch aerial displays of acrobatic sport kites from Hawai‘i Kiteflyers Association. Fly your own kite for prizes or try a kite making workshop. Visit the website for more information.

 

7TH ANNUAL MAUI HAWAIIAN STEEL GUITAR FESTIVAL

The festival features performances, presentations and workshops of the Hawaiian steel guitar. There are onions. And then there are Maui Onions. Believed by many to be the sweetest onions in the whole wide world, these glorious bulbs are the star of this annual festival. The Maui Onion Festival has been a signature event at Whalers Village since 1990. It’s dedicated to the cultivation and promotion of the world-famous Maui Onion and is attended by thousands of visitors and residents every year.
