Visitor Donna, who said with us this past September, commented:
My sisters and I were celebrating our birthdays and our mother (who passed away 6 years ago). Our stay was wonderful. Our room was well equipped for 4 women. From the sounds of the ocean (all day) to our drive on the island was great. We have already been talking about returning to Kaanapali Beach Resort in the near future. We definitely needed more time to finish doing the things we wanted to do like horseback riding, zipline, the lavender fields and shopping on Front Street. We were able to attend a Luau, Pacific Whale Foundation sunset dinner cruise, Aquarium and Snuba in Turtle Island.
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to congratulate you all on a beautiful stay at the Kaanapali Alii
Until we meet again,

“Perfect In Every Way…”
The most dramatic part of any vacation is the anticipation you feel as you insert the keycard into the lock of a hotel room that you are entering for the first time – – especially after you’ve spent 12 hours of flying time with 3 young children to get to your destination.
So you can imagine the excitement we felt when we opened the door to enter one of the
most gorgeous hotel/condo units we’ve ever seen. We had reserved a 2BR, recently renovated suite facing the ocean and that’s exactly what we got. The unit was immaculate – – clean, spacious, nicely decorated…. it was actually a luxury condo rather than a hotel room. The beds were extremely comfortable (even the sleeper sofa was nice – – usually hotel sleeper sofas are not so nice when you unfold them), the kitchen was modern and fully equipped, the bathrooms were pristine, and the condition of the overall unit was excellent. The highlight of our accommodation was that our 3rd floor lanai was literally 30 yards from one of the most beautiful beaches we have ever seen. Great for swimming and people watching as you had surfers dealing with some challenging waves while mostly newlyweds strolled the walkway extending the entire length of Kaanapali Beach ending at Whaler’s Village on the north end – – a very nice shopping plaza (we saw an excellent and free hula show there). As for the kids, they didn’t even miss the lack of a pool slide that a few other nearby hotels had – – dancing in the waves and attempting to body surf in the ocean right in front of the hotel was more than enough entertainment for them (and us parents as well).
So when you add it all up – – central location on a beautiful stretch of beach, pleasant staff, immaculate and spacious suites, wonderful views, great amenities – – it’s one of the best places you could stay at without sacrificing a bar of gold for the experience. Bravo Kaanapali Alii !!!

“We love this place!”
Our family of five stayed here and absolutely fell in love with it. We had a beautiful 2 bedroom (more like a 3 bedroom) unit overlooking the ocean and pool. The staff could not have been nicer. The pool area is not huge but it is very cozy and much more quiet than the pools at the resorts on the beach. Speaking of the beach, the Alii has THE best beachfront in Kaanapali. There are 8 state of the art grills overlooking the ocean for people who want to hang out on the terrace and eat steaks while they watch the sunset. The charmingly busy oceanfront town of Lahaina is just a 10 minute drive away and it offers plenty of shopping, ice cream, people watching and food options. At night many of the restaurants have live music which a nice added touch. All in all, we had an amazing time, with no complaints, only great memories. We would love to return someday!!

We planned a family trip to Maui to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary (3 years early!). We thought it would be a trip of a lifetime and it was, but we are already thinking about when we can return. We chose the Kaanapali Alii since two 2-bdrm, 2 bath condos met our family’s needs. It was fabulous! The rooms were well decorated and very beautiful. The mountain view was breathtaking especially when the beautiful rainbow appeared in our window, without any rain! We loved the gorgeous beaches and pools. One of the highlights of our trip was grilling out on the grills provided by the Alii. We have told our friends about this beautiful place. We would choose the Alii again.

“You don’t need to look any further than the Kaanapali Alii in Maui.”
We have stayed at the Kaanapali Alii several times. Each time we return our visit is better than the last! Located right on the beach, the Kaanapali offers ocean view rooms. We open our windows at night and are lulled to sleep by the ocean. Can’t get any better than that! Our accommodations are always 5-star. The management sees to it that every guest is treated like royalty! You truly feel that you are in paradise! Each staff member really seems to like his/her job. They are so patient to answer any and all questions. We don’t think you will be disappointed at the Alii——-located close to Whaler’s Village, dining, and shopping! Enjoy!
Room Tip: Ocean, mountain, or garden-view rooms. All great!

“A spectacular place to stay!!!”
We have stayed at the Alii about 6 or 7 times and each time it gets better! The resort, amenities, staff and environment are the best! They bend over backwards to make your stay unforgettable! The location is superb for activities, restaurants and shopping all within walking distance.

“Fantastic – Luxury and Beautiful”
This condo (312) was beautiful! Walked out onto our patio onto the lawn and down to the beach. Our kids (12 and 10) just loved it. Walking distance to shopping and resorts. Absolutely beautiful and would love to go back. Great workout area, grill area, pools and the beach is spectacular. We stayed for nine days and would have loved to stay for nine more. The place is spotless and the staff is extremely helpful and conscientious. Can’t imagine staying anywhere else on Maui.

“Luxury home away from home – with a maid!!! Simply Perfect”
This exclusive condo was so nice to come home to! Kids just wanted to go back to the condo for a swim. Right on the beach. Walking distance to shopping and resorts. This is heaven!!! Excellent warm and friendly staff that remember your name. Security guards on the grounds make sure your stay is safe and nice. Manicured lawns and gardens. Pools , spas, workout building, barbeques, everything was perfect!
I have to buy a new bed now because the mattresses were so comfortable, I have never slept as well anywhere! LOL.

“Beautiful home away from home in the heart of Kaanapali Beach”
We stayed for eight days in the beautiful Kaanapali Alii located between the Westin and Marriott on Kaanapali beach. Our unit was a two bedroom, two bath with an additional den bedroom. The ocean views were spectacular, unit was large (about 1900 sq ft) and beautifully appointed. The kitchen was fully equipped so we could eat in when we chose. Whaler’s Village for nightlife, shopping and great restaurants was just a few minutes walk down the beach. Even though the Alii was fully booked when we were there, it never felt crowded and was quiet at night.
The Alii advertises one and two bedrooms but many of the two bedroom units have dens which have been converted into a third bedroom. If you need a third bedroom, ask for a den unit when booking. We were traveling with three teenagers, two girls and a boy, so the third bedroom was really nice.
