“Recalling Hawaii” at the MACC

 

“Recalling Hawaii” at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center

Recalling Hawai`i,” is a multi-media hula and history chronicle,  spanning from Kumulipo beginnings through present times featuring 50 dancers, musicians and singers from Hawaii, California and Europe ranging in age from 3 years old to 70.

 

This half of the production takes the audience on a journey through Hawaiian cultural and political history up to today.

 

“Recalling Hawaii” is not only a learning experience, it is also a fundraiser for the Ka ‘Imi Institute, a 501(c)3 organization. Other beneficiaries are Lae’ula ‘O Kai and Ka Ipu Kukui Fellows.
