Pool and Beach
Kaanapali Alii features a fresh water swimming pool, whirlpool spa and children’s wading pool. Guests have immediate access to world-famous Kaanapali Beach, a three-mile stretch of beach that has been touted one of the best beaches on Maui and even in America. Kaanapali has been voted “Best Beach in America” by Dr. Beach. ''Complimentary beach towels and chairs are available at poolside.''

Oceanfront Pavilion and Barbecue Gas Grills
Enjoy Maui’s relaxing lifestyle from West Maui’s sunniest and most exciting shorelines while grilling your favorite island fish or steaks. Our oceanfront pavilion and gas grills are one of Alii’s most popular amenities. A picnic area with chairs and tables are available to enjoy your favorite snacks or meals with friends for a family get together.

Fitness Salon
Located poolside, Alii’s fitness salon has a variety of aerobic equipment, free weights and weight training station. The use of the fitness salon is complimentary. Open from 7am – 9pm.

Guest Services
More services, greater convenience. Our expanded guest services office is here for all of your vacation needs. Let our friendly and knowledgeable staff plan and reserve your activities from luaus and dinner cruises to bicycle adventures and helicopter tours. They can also assist you with dinner reservations and babysitting arrangements. Hours from 8am – 6pm.

Sundry Store
Our sundry store has a wide array of grocery and convenience items, snacks, beverages, suntan lotion and Kaanapali Alii logo and gift store. The sundry store is located in the Guest Services office. Open from 8am – 6pm.

Facsimile and Shipping Services
Our guest services staff will take care of your shipping and faxing needs.

Video and Book Library
Visit our Guest Services office for the latest selection of videos to view in your condominium and for a wide selection of books.

Beach Activities
Vacationing at Kaanapali Alii means that many activities are just a short stroll from your condominium. Kaanapali Beach is the center of ocean activities offering a variety of catamaran and boat trips offering snorkeling, scuba diving, parasailing, dinner cruises, and even whale watching cruises (November – April). Surfing and boogie boarding are also favorite activities for both young and old to enjoy right in front of the “Alii”. Tennis
Three-lighted tennis courts are available for play from 8am -9pm. Tennis is complimentary. Racquets and tennis balls are also available. Our on-site tennis pro conducts free tennis clinics during the week and is also available for private lessons for those who want to sharpen their techniques.

Yoga on the Beach
Start up your Maui morning by doing some rejuvenating yoga postures against the most ideal back drop, the golden sands of Kaanapali Beach. Join Carmen or anyone of our expert yoga instructors for an hour of gentle yoga. Open to all levels. Monday, Wednesday and Fridays at 8am (fee).

Alii Kid’s Club
Good news for kids and parents! Kids under 12 years automatically become members of the Alii Kid’s Club, entitling them to free fun, great deals and special discounts. At check-in kids get an Alii Kids Club, a goodie-bag filled with special amenities, plus coupons for free activities and discounts at participating merchants and restaurants. Kids can attend free tennis lessons, lei-making, hula lessons and coconut painting classes (classes may vary). Free children’s videos are also available from the Guest Services office. Alii Kids Club program is seasonal. Inquire with our Guest Services staff for dates of operation.

Whaler’s Village Fine Shops and Restaurants
A short stroll down Kaanapali’s beach walk from the Alii is Whaler’s Village Fine Shops and Restaurants. Maui’s premier beachfront shopping village, Whaler’s Village is a mecca for shoppers and offers a wide variety of selections from resort wear and beach accessories to high-end boutique stores and specialty shops. Fairway Shops at Kaanapali
Conveniently located in the middle of Kaanapali and adjacent to Kaanapali Golf Courses, the Fairway Shops is a resort retail center featuring a variety of specialty shops, dining and services. Front Street in Lahaina Town
A short five-mile drive south of Kaanapali Beach Resort is historic Lahaina Town, often called the “jewel in the crown of Maui”. Shopping in Lahaina is uniquely Maui with marine life art, unique souvenirs , T-shirts and jewelry galore! Walk along the most famous street in Lahaina, Front Street. Visit unique art galleries. Sample and enjoy the best dining options in Hawaii at casual beachfront restaurants or five-star restaurants.

Kaanapali Historical Trail Tour
Kaanapali is rich with history and legends and the Kaanapali Beach Resort offers a free tour highlighting the area’s storied past. The guided tour starts from the North end of Kaanapali and continues south with captivating stories about Maui. Free guided tours are given twice a week. Visitors may also take a self-guided tour of the trail using the free Historical Trail brochure and map.

Lahaina’s Historical Walking Tour - A Journey through Lahaina’s Past
Lahaina town, Hawaii’s capital until 1845, is rich in history and culture of old Hawaii.
